CECyTE BCS implements card payments at 16 centers

The College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Baja California Sur (CECyTE BCS) has implemented bank card payments for administrative procedures and voluntary contributions across 16 educational centers. The new system is active in Mulegé, La Paz, Comondú, and Los Cabos, covering various CECyT and EMSaD campuses.

This transition aims to facilitate operations for families and users by reducing cash handling and simplifying payment verification. Internally, the tool is intended to strengthen the control, registration, and tracking of income, contributing to more efficient and transparent administration of public resources. Director General Vladimir Torres Navarro stated that updating administrative procedures is necessary to meet evolving environmental needs and complements ongoing improvements to campus facilities and equipment.
