CECyTE campus in Nuevo León receives first federal funding

A CECyTE campus in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León, has received federal funding for the first time in its 32-year history. The resources were provided through the ‘La Escuela es Nuestra’ program, as reported by Genaro Rodríguez Teniente, the delegate of the Secretaría de Bienestar in Nuevo León.

During a site visit, officials inspected the improvements made with the funds and acknowledged the school committee responsible for managing the resources over the past year. The program allows school communities to define their own priority needs and execute facility improvements directly.

Rodríguez Teniente stated that supporting upper secondary education infrastructure is part of the commitment made by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo to strengthen the educational sector.
