Cedars-Sinai launches free flu clinics in Los Angeles

The 2026–27 flu season has begun earlier than usual, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting high influenza activity along the West Coast.

In response, Cedars-Sinai is deploying free flu clinics and health screenings throughout Los Angeles communities. Through its Community Health Improvement program and the COACH for Kids mobile medical clinic, the organization aims to increase vaccine accessibility ahead of the holiday travel and gathering season.

Health experts emphasize that vaccination is critical for reducing serious complications, particularly for high-risk groups such as young children, adults aged 65 and older, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic medical conditions. The CDC recommends annual vaccination for everyone aged six months and older.
