CEDENAR delivers 30 electric bicycles to students in Nariño, Colombia
CEDENAR handed over 30 electric bicycles to the students of the José María Hernández Technical Agricultural School in Pasto, Nariño. The delivery is part of the "Community Energy for Student Electric Mobility" initiative, the first program of its kind in Colombia. The project aims to provide clean transport for students, promote sustainable technologies and reduce environmental impact.
The initiative is led by CEDENAR’s General Management under director Pedro Arturo Acosta and is coordinated with the Office of Energy Transition. It also seeks to strengthen sustainable mobility and environmental education across the department of Nariño.
