Cedi Osman leads PAOK to 100-99 victory over Partizan

Cedi Osman led PAOK to a 100-99 victory over Partizan during the ‘Pavlos Giannakopoulos’ tournament, scoring 27 points, including 12 of 14 free throws, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Following the match, Osman discussed his decision to join PAOK after leaving Panathinaikos. He noted that while it was a difficult summer, the vision of the club to reach the EuroLeague and the opportunity to take on a leadership role were decisive factors. He attributed his departure from Panathinaikos to a perceived lack of communication and a sense that the club was moving in a different direction, though he emphasized there is no ill will toward the organization or Dimitris Giannakopoulos.

During his return to the T-Center, Panathinaikos honored Osman for his two years of service with a commemorative plaque presented by Fragiskos Alvertis. Osman also expressed admiration for teammate Nick Calathias, specifically praising a decisive assist during the game against Partizan.
