CEDIA to present 2026 smart home market analysis

CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals, is set to present its 2026 UK Professional Smart Home Market Analysis at an industry event in London on September 30. The presentation, held in partnership with Essential Installation, will feature research by CEDIA Director of Research Ryan Bardach regarding industry trends, business performance, and market opportunities. The event will also provide insights from the 2026 U.S. Professional Smart Home Market Analysis to help industry professionals make data-driven decisions.

At the CEDIA Expo 2026, the industry demonstrated increased maturity in home connectivity and integration. The Z-Wave Alliance maintained a significant presence, with eleven member companies—including Samsung/SmartThings, Johnson Controls, Ring, and Schlage—showcasing products across security, HVAC, shading, and automation sectors. The exhibition highlighted a growing emphasis on standardized protocols and interoperability to support increasingly connected residential environments.
