CEEE Equatorial announces scheduled power outages in Rio Grande do Sul

CEEE Equatorial has announced a series of scheduled power outages across several municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The maintenance work is set to take place between August 31 and September 9.

The service interruptions will affect various locations in 16 of the 23 cities located along the state's North Coast. Included municipalities are Arroio do Sal, Capão da Canoa, Cidreira, Dom Pedro de Alcântara, Imbé, Itati, Mampituba, Mostardas, Osório, Palmares do Sul, Santo Antônio da Patrulha, Tavares, Terra de Areia, Torres, Tramandaí, and Xangri-Lá.

According to the utility provider, the work includes corrective maintenance and network expansion intended to improve the quality and reliability of the electricity supply. The outages are expected to last for several hours and are subject to favorable weather conditions.
