Ceffu executes large-scale crypto asset transfers
Institutional custodian Ceffu has executed several large-scale digital asset movements on August 24. Onchain data indicates that Ceffu withdrew 120 million USDC from Ethena’s Coinbase Prime custody wallets through six separate transactions.
In a separate series of movements, Ceffu, which operates as Binance’s institutional custody partner, deposited 136.54 million USDC into Binance before withdrawing approximately $263.8 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum within a 30-minute window. The withdrawal included 1,524 BTC and 59,484 ETH.
These activities occur amid significant market volatility and a major Bitcoin rally. Ceffu, formerly known as Binance Custody, provides segregated cold storage and settlement services for large-scale investors.
