CEFOR Promotora San Luis loses TDP opener, prepares for Copa Promesas debut

CEFOR Promotora San Luis began its Third Professional Division (TDP) season with a 1-0 away defeat against Trinca de Mi Vida at the Ferti Joaquín field. Despite missing two penalty opportunities—one saved by the opposing goalkeeper and another missed by Pastrana—the team was unable to secure a draw.

Following this result, the club is preparing for its debut in the Copa Promesas of Liga MX. Under the leadership of coach César Silva, the team will host Necaxa at the CDTAR stadium. Silva noted that the team has trained intensely to compete with Liga MX sides and aims to represent Soledad de Graciano Sánchez effectively. The match venue was moved to the Plan de San Luis to protect the grass at the San Antonio Sports Unit, which is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
