Calabria reinstates Regional Council for Calabrians in the World

The Regional Council of Calabrians in the World (Consulta dei Calabresi nel Mondo) is returning to in-person meetings after a seven-year hiatus. The assembly is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 12, featuring institutional initiatives and discussions aimed at strengthening ties between the Calabria region and its diaspora communities across various continents.

The program includes a plenary session in Catanzaro on September 10, which will be opened by Calabria Regional President Roberto Occhiuto. The event will also involve the official installation of the Council and the presentation of new consultancies. Key participants include university and regional officials, focusing on themes such as identity, culture, tourism, and creating new opportunities for the Calabrian community worldwide.
