Cejle wins gold medal at Entente Florale Europe in Ireland

The village of Cejle in the Vysočina Region has won a gold medal at the Entente Florale Europe competition held in Carlow, Ireland. As the sole representative of the Czech Republic in the contest, the village achieved top-tier status among European municipalities.

In addition to the gold medal, the village received the prestigious ‘Award of Excellence’, an honor granted to only two municipalities during the ceremony. Mayor Pavlína Nováková noted that the jury specifically praised the new Louh park and the strong sense of community and social cohesion among the residents.

A delegation of fourteen residents, accompanied by two representatives from the Vysočina Region, traveled to Ireland to attend the awards ceremony on September 19. The village plans to celebrate the achievement with the local community, including symbolic presentations to the children.
