CEKOM management contests State Inspectorate account freeze

The management of Centar kompetencija za napredno inženjerstvo Nova Gradiška d. o. o. (CEKOM) has issued a statement addressing reports regarding the freezing of the company's accounts. The company confirmed that a measure for temporary payment security was recorded on its accounts following a decision by the State Inspectorate.

The Inspectorate's decision involved an amount of 17,850.00 EUR, calculated based on the gross minimum wage for 17 employees who were reportedly not paid for June 2026. However, CEKOM management disputes the basis of this measure, stating that documentation proves minimum net wages were indeed paid to employees on July 31, 2026, and recorded via bank statements and official tax forms.

CEKOM has formally appealed the decision through legal channels, submitting payroll records, bank statements, and other relevant documentation to prove compliance. The company is utilizing all available legal mechanisms to contest and overturn the measure.
