Celal Şengül advises protecting flowers from direct sunlight in Eskişehir

Celal Şengül, a florist with about 40 years of experience in Eskişehir, explained that the rising summer temperatures increase the risk of flower damage. He warned that direct sunlight creates a greenhouse effect that quickly dries out plants, and that many gardeners mistakenly apply the same care routine to all flower species.

Şengül recommended placing flowers in shaded locations, adjusting watering amounts to each plant’s needs, and avoiding excessive watering. He emphasized that some plants thrive in bright light while others require shade, and that proper care can significantly extend a flower’s lifespan.
