CELAVI release new Welsh-language industrial nu-metal single

Welsh nu-metal duo CELAVI has released a new single and music video titled ‘Ar Dy Liniau (On Your Knees)’. The track, which blends early-2000s nu-metal with industrial elements, serves as a precursor to their upcoming EP, ‘Praelia’.

The release follows the band's historic performance at Download Festival, where they became the first group to perform in the Welsh language. Their journey to the festival is featured in the documentary ‘Sgrechian (Screaming)’, produced for the S4C digital platform Hansh.

Produced by Romesh Dodangoda, the new single explores themes of resilience, confrontation, and respect. The band, consisting of Gwion Griffiths and Sarah Wynn Griffiths, is scheduled for upcoming performances at Chepstow Castle and Pro Weekend Fest 2026 in Spain.
