Celebrities share personal accounts of near-death experiences

Several global celebrities have shared personal accounts of near-death experiences resulting from serious accidents or illnesses.

Sharon Stone described seeing five glowing spheres that appeared to communicate with her following a stroke in 2001. Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, recounted surviving a 2008 plane crash that left him with burns over 65 percent of his body and required 27 surgeries. Jamie Foxx also faced a life-threatening medical emergency in 2023 involving a brain injury in Atlanta, which required urgent surgery.
