Celeste González dedicates life to dance and teaching in Río Grande
Celeste González, a dancer born in San Juan who relocated to Río Grande at age two, has dedicated her life to classical and contemporary dance and artistic instruction. Although she initially studied to become a public accountant in San Juan, graduating in 1996, she ultimately chose to pursue a career in the arts.
After teaching at Escuela 32 and establishing her own studio, González has become a key figure in the local artistic community in Tierra del Fuego. She currently directs Fuega, a dance group consisting of more than 18 members. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes attitude, commitment, and the enjoyment of the creative process over strict physical conditioning.
