Celestia (TIA) hits four-month high amid surge in trading volume

Celestia (TIA) experienced a significant price surge, reaching a four-month high of approximately $0.48. The asset saw a daily increase of nearly 20%, accompanied by a massive spike in trading volume that exceeded 300% of its 30-day average.

Market analysts attribute the movement to Celestia’s role as a modular data availability (DA) layer, which helps other blockchains scale. Additionally, high staking demand has been noted, with over 393.9 million tokens—roughly 43% of the total supply—currently staked at a reward rate of 5.48%.

Despite the rally, the asset faces selling pressure from profit-takers. On the futures market, Celestia recorded significant outflows, and spot netflow indicated selling activity. Some analysts suggest the price jump may also be driven by speculative volume and short covering rather than specific regulatory or network announcements.
