Celestica raises $3.4 billion in equity offering to fund AI infrastructure expansion

Celestica Inc. completed an equity offering of 9,677,419 common shares at $310 per share, selling a total of 11,129,031 shares (including the underwriters’ option) for gross proceeds of about $3.45 billion. Net proceeds are earmarked for working capital, capital expenditures and other corporate purposes. The offering was led by BofA Securities and Citigroup, with participation from TD Securities, CIBC Capital Markets, JPMorgan, RBC Capital Markets and several co‑managers.

Earlier this year the company announced a proposed $3 billion common‑stock offering to support growing demand for its AI and data‑center infrastructure services. The plan includes a 30‑day option for underwriters to purchase up to an additional 15 percent of the shares. Proceeds are intended to give Celestica greater balance‑sheet flexibility as it expands manufacturing capacity, invests in 800‑gigabit and 1.6‑terabit Ethernet technologies, and scales AI compute and networking solutions for hyperscalers and cloud providers.
