Celine Dion announces Paris residency following health battle
Celine Dion is preparing for a return to the stage with a residency in Paris following her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome. The Canadian singer, who has been managing the rare autoimmune neurological disorder since 2022, is scheduled to perform at the Paris La Défense Arena.
Dion has implemented a rigorous rehabilitation regimen to manage the condition, which causes muscle stiffness, spasms, and difficulty walking. Her routine includes Pilates, ballet, physical therapy, vocal therapy, and immunotherapy.
Following her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the singer has announced a series of recitals. Due to high demand and rapid ticket sales, additional dates have been added to her schedule, extending her presence in Paris through 2027.
