Cella celebrates 25th anniversary of its Potato Fair

The town of Cella in Teruel has inaugurated the 25th edition of its Potato Fair, marking a quarter-century of celebrating the local tuber as a key economic and gastronomic driver for the Aragon region.

Mayor Carmen Pobo highlighted the event's importance, noting that the quality of the local potatoes is supported by the area's specific soil and water conditions. To celebrate the anniversary, the municipality has organized various activities, including traditional culinary preparations such as potato omelets and stews intended to feed 5,000 people.

Joaquín Juste, president of the Provincial Council of Teruel, attended the opening to reaffirm institutional support for regional agri-food products and the promotion of the rural economy.
