Celle di San Vito hosts August summer events and festivals

Celle di San Vito, Puglia’s least populated municipality, is hosting a series of summer events in August to welcome residents, tourists, and returning emigrants from countries such as Canada and the United States.

Key celebrations include the ‘Festa del Vicino’ on August 10, where residents cook for their neighbors in a communal dinner. Other scheduled activities include the ‘scampagnata di San Vito’ pilgrimage on August 8, a children’s day on August 11, a music quiz show on August 12, and the feast of the patron saint, San Vincenzo Ferreri, on August 13.
