Celle is hosting a variety of cultural events and film screenings. The weekend of August 21 to 23 features live music, including 60s soul at Happy Creppy and contemporary jazz at Braugasthaus Mühlengrund, alongside an open-air dance party at Brandplatz and a flea market in Wietzenbruch.

Recent and upcoming film screenings at Kino 8 ½ include the documentary ‘To My Sisters’ by Faek Falak, which examines the struggle of Kurdish women against patriarchal violence. Additionally, the film ‘A Single Day’ by Christoph Felder is scheduled for August 27. This documentary explores the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War through the perspective of Larry Colburn, a US soldier who intervened to protect civilians.
