Celle region hosts community festivals and charity events

Celle and the surrounding region are hosting various community events during the final weekend of August 2026.

Round Table 107 Celle, in collaboration with Köllner’s Landhaus, is organizing a wine festival on August 29. The event features wine from Winzerwelt and culinary offerings from Köllner’s Landhaus. For every glass of wine sold, 50 cents will be donated to local projects. Additionally, a stem cell registration drive will be held in cooperation with DKMS to support potential donors for patients with blood cancer.

Other regional activities include the Kartoffelfest in Hermannsburg-Willighausen, which offers potato harvesting, tastings, and a market. Musical performances are also scheduled, including a concert by the Blasorchester Salinia Sülze e. V. at the CD-Kaserne and a Tina Turner tribute performance at the Stadtpalais beer garden.
