Celltrion expands global biosimilar market share in US, Europe, and Asia

Celltrion is reporting significant market share growth for its autoimmune disease treatments across the United States, Europe, and Asia. In the U.S. ustekinumab market, the biosimilar Stekyma reached a 16.2% market share in July, rising 6 percentage points in just five months.

In Europe, the subcutaneous formulation Remsima SC has achieved record market shares in major economies. According to IQVIA data, it holds approximately 32% of the market in the EU5, including a 49% share in Germany, 35% in France, and 31% in Italy. In Asia, Remsima maintains dominant positions, leading markets in Singapore (93%), Hong Kong (84%), Thailand (78%), and Malaysia (72%).

Celltrion's U.S. portfolio also shows strength, with Truxima holding a 38.6% market share and Inflectra maintaining 30.7%. The company attributes this success to localized sales strategies and effective inclusion in major Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) formularies. Moving forward, Celltrion plans to leverage its direct sales networks to launch high-margin follow-up products like Omlyclo.
