Celltrion launches 300mg Omlyclo biosimilar in Europe

Celltrion has launched the 300mg dose of Omlyclo, a biosimilar for chronic spontaneous urticaria and allergic asthma, in major European markets including Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. This follows the company's previous release of 75mg and 150mg doses late last year.

The 300mg single dose is designed to improve patient convenience by allowing treatment with a single injection rather than two 150mg doses. Celltrion is offering the product in both pre-filled syringes (PFS) and auto-injectors (AI) to provide more options for patients and healthcare providers.

Additionally, Omlyclo offers enhanced stability compared to the original drug, with a shelf life of up to two years under refrigeration (2–8°C) and up to seven days at room temperature (up to 25°C). The product also features a ‘re-refrigeration’ capability, allowing it to be returned to cold storage after room-temperature exposure, which provides greater flexibility during transport and storage.
