Celltrion reports record quarterly operating profit exceeding 500 billion won

Celltrion has reported record-breaking third-quarter financial results, with operating profit exceeding 500 billion won for the first time in the company's history. The company posted provisional revenue of 1.5 trillion won and an operating profit of 510 billion won, representing a 45.8% increase in revenue and a 69.2% increase in operating profit compared to the same period last year.

This growth was driven by an increased sales mix of high-margin follow-up products and improvements in cost structures. Celltrion has exceeded its quarterly operating profit targets for three consecutive quarters this year. Key drivers include strong performance in Europe and the United States. In Europe, Omlyclo has achieved over 90% market share in Spain as of July and is expected to reach over 98% in Denmark by year-end.

In the United States, products such as Stekima, Yuflyma, Truxima, and Inflectra have maintained steady market shares. Additionally, the recent launch of Omlyclo in the U.S. has gained momentum after being listed as a preferred drug on the Optum pharmacy benefit manager's formulary. The company plans to maintain this growth momentum through the fourth quarter by leveraging European bidding cycles and expanding its U.S. market presence.
