Celltrion targets 600 billion won operating profit for Q4

Celltrion has announced that it successfully met its quarterly operating profit targets for the first three quarters of the year, reporting 300 billion won in Q1, 400 billion won in Q2, and 500 billion won in Q3. The company is now targeting an operating profit of over 600 billion won for the fourth quarter to fulfill its annual performance commitments.

To support this goal, Chairman Seo Jung-jin recently presided over a global strategy meeting involving approximately 80 executives and local subsidiary representatives from North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. Despite external variables such as declining exchange rates, the company maintains that achieving the Q4 target remains highly feasible. Chairman Seo plans to personally visit major global markets starting in mid-October to inspect local operations and encourage sales activities.

Regarding shareholder value, Celltrion reaffirmed its policy to return one-third of its net profit to shareholders through methods such as cash dividends or treasury stock cancellations. The company intends to finalize the specific methods after gathering shareholder input. Long-term strategies include enhancing sustainable profit growth through efficient R&D spending, manufacturing cost reduction, and productivity improvements.
