Celltrion to seek new drug and CDMO partnerships at CPHI Milan
Celltrion will participate in the CPHI exhibition in Milan, Italy, from October 6 to 8. For the fifth consecutive year, the company will operate a large standalone booth to seek partnerships for its new drug pipelines, focusing on oncology, obesity, metabolic diseases, and autoimmune diseases. Additionally, Celltrion aims to expand its business into Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services and diversify its global supply chain by identifying new manufacturing partners.
Other developments in the South Korean pharmaceutical sector include Daewon Pharmaceutical resuming the supply of its levocetirizine pouch-type respiratory medication, following a production halt due to raw material shortages. Humedix reported that its Elavie Lituo cosmetic brand has expanded its distribution to over 300 pharmacies through a partnership with the Baropharm platform. Meanwhile, Yuhan Corporation has begun operating Willow House, a repurposed cultural space, hosting various musical performances and art exhibitions.
