Celltrion to showcase Remsima SC at European gastroenterology conference

Celltrion will participate in the 2026 United European Gastroenterology Week (UEG Week) in Barcelona, Spain, from the 17th to the 20th. The company aims to showcase the competitiveness of its inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) treatments, specifically focusing on its autoimmune disease therapy, Remsima SC (infliximab).

At the conference, Celltrion will operate a 200-square-meter booth and host symposia and expert sessions featuring global medical scholars. These sessions will discuss long-term clinical evidence and real-world experiences with Remsima SC, including its use in treating Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The company also plans to present its full Remsima lineup, including the liquid IV formulation recently launched in Europe, alongside other IBD treatments such as StekiMA (ustekinumab) and Yuflyma (adalimumab).

According to market research firm IQVIA, the Remsima product group (IV and SC) held approximately 71% of the European market share in the first quarter of this year. Yuflyma also maintains a 24% market share. Celltrion intends to leverage its established European direct sales network to expand its influence in the IBD market.
