Celona launches Orion converged wireless platform for AI enterprises

Celona has announced Celona Orion, a converged wireless platform designed for AI-native enterprises. The platform aims to unify private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite connectivity into a single, secure, and deterministic fabric.

Designed to support the increasing demands of autonomous robots, computer-vision systems, edge AI devices, and software agents, Orion addresses the need for connectivity that can handle strict requirements regarding latency, jitter, and packet loss. The system utilizes Orchestrator AI to manage these converged technologies as an intelligent, unified system rather than separate silos.

Under the Orion model, private 5G is intended to provide reach and deterministic performance for autonomous machines, while Wi-Fi is designated for high-capacity and bandwidth-intensive applications. Key capabilities are expected to be released in phases starting in Q4 2026.
