Celonic and Leukocare Partner to Advance Complex Biologics Development

Swiss contract development and manufacturing organization Celonic AG and data‑science driven drug‑product specialist Leukocare AG have announced a collaboration to support biopharma companies developing complex biologics such as bispecific and multispecific antibodies, fusion proteins and high‑concentration formulations. The partnership combines Celonic’s CHOvolutionGS CHO‑K1 platform, intensified and perfusion bioprocessing, and GMP manufacturing capabilities with Leukocare’s molecular modelling, predictive analytics, advanced biostatistics and formulation expertise.

The joint approach is intended to align formulation strategy, manufacturability and process development from preclinical stages through commercialisation, reducing technical risk and delivering stable, scalable, patient‑friendly drug products. “Our collaboration highlights the decisive role of formulation in enabling complex biologics to reach the clinic,” said Samanta Cimitan, CEO of Celonic AG.
