Celta de Vigo maintains league-best defensive record

Celta de Vigo has recorded its fifth clean sheet in the first ten matches of the La Liga season. Following a scoreless draw against Real Betis, the team has conceded only seven goals so far, making them the team with the fewest goals conceded in the competition.

Goalkeeper Ionut Andrei Radu has played every minute of the campaign and leads the Zamora Trophy standings with an average of 0.7 goals conceded per match. This performance follows a strong defensive trend from the previous season, which concluded with ten consecutive clean sheets.

In the recent match against Betis, Celta's defense held firm despite the Seville-based team recording 15 shots, four of which were on target. Celta currently holds a two-point improvement over their previous season's standing and remains unbeaten in seven consecutive matches.
