Celta signs Altay Bayindir on loan from Manchester United

Celta has strengthened its goalkeeper competition by signing Altay Bayindir on loan from Manchester United. The Turkish international, who has earned 12 caps for his national team, arrives with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Club director Marco Garcés noted that the deal includes a performance-based clause where the loan fee decreases for every match Bayindir plays. Manager Claudio Giráldez emphasized the goal of increasing internal competition for the position, particularly as the team faces three major competitions this season. While Andrei Radu has maintained his starting position following an excellent previous campaign, Giráldez stated that no starting role is guaranteed and players must earn their place each week.
