Celta Vigo manager Claudio Giráldez addresses squad injuries and European losses

Celta Vigo manager Claudio Giráldez has addressed the team's recent challenges, including a string of late losses in European competition and a growing injury crisis. Following a match against Juventus, Giráldez expressed frustration at losing points in the final minutes of consecutive games, stating that the results did not reflect the team's performance on the pitch.

Regarding squad availability, the manager noted that injuries have forced the club to call up three players from Fortuna to bolster the roster. Giráldez also provided updates on several players, including Sebastián Cáceres, who is expected to start in the upcoming match against Deportivo Alavés, and Javi Rodríguez, who has been playing through discomfort following a difficult preseason.

Looking ahead to the fixture against Deportivo Alavés, Giráldez praised the opponent's strength in direct play and set pieces, noting their ability to defend in a low block and execute effective counterattacks.
