Celtic interested in Liverpool defender Luke Chambers

Celtic are reportedly interested in a January loan move for Liverpool defender Luke Chambers. The 22-year-old left-back, who is out of contract at the end of the current season, is expected to be available for a temporary exit from Anfield.

Chambers has previous experience in Scottish football, having spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Kilmarnock. While Celtic have already addressed the left-back position during the summer with the arrival of Landon Emenalo, reports suggest interest in Chambers may be part of a long-term squad planning strategy rather than an immediate necessity.

Since returning to Liverpool, Chambers has made appearances for the first team in the League Cup and Europa League. He also represented the England Under-19 side during their 2022 European Championship victory.
