Celtic FC nears £9m deal for Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan

Celtic FC is nearing a deal to sign Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan from Real Oviedo. The transfer package is estimated to be worth approximately £9 million, consisting of a £6 million upfront payment plus performance-based bonuses.

Real Oviedo manager Julian Calero has indicated that Hassan's departure is a strong possibility due to the club's financial situation and adherence to a strict salary cap following their relegation. Calero noted that while Hassan possesses unique technical abilities, the club must manage its finances and respond to official offers.

Hassan, who has reportedly agreed to personal terms on a four-year contract, is noted for his progressive carrying and dribbling abilities despite modest recent goal statistics. He previously represented Egypt in the 2022 World Cup.
