Celtic pursue Lazio forwards Gustav Isaksen and Matteo Cancellieri

Celtic are reported to be monitoring Lazio attackers Gustav Isaksen and Matteo Cancellieri as part of manager Martin O'Neill's plan to strengthen the forward line. Lazio are said to be willing to consider offers for both players, with a lower price expected for Isaksen.

The 25‑year‑old Danish striker joined Lazio from FC Midtjylland in 2023, has scored 14 goals in 121 appearances and has two years remaining on his contract, though injury troubles have limited his role. The 24‑year‑old Italian winger, capable of playing on either flank, has one year left on his deal and is also linked with clubs such as Fiorentina, Parma, Torino and Olympiakos. Celtic have not entered formal negotiations yet, but the duo are listed among several attacking targets the club is evaluating.
