Celtic supporters bus catches fire near Celtic Park

A bus carrying Celtic supporters caught fire near Celtic Park in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, shortly after the team’s 1-0 defeat to Rangers in the Glasgow Derby. The incident occurred on the Clyde Gateway near the Emirates Arena around 2:25 pm.

Emergency services, including the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the scene. Two fire appliances were deployed to extinguish the blaze. McLean’s Coaches, the operator of the vehicle, confirmed that families with children were on board when the fire started but stated that all passengers were evacuated safely.

Police and fire officials reported no injuries resulting from the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities, and the coach company has indicated it is cooperating fully with enquiries.
