Cembra Money Bank to relocate headquarters to Baden

Cembra Money Bank AG has announced plans to relocate its headquarters from Zurich-Altstetten to Baden, Switzerland. The move is scheduled to take place in autumn 2027.

The bank will move into the Konnex real estate complex located in the former Baden-Nord industrial district. According to CEO Holger Laubenthal, the new site was chosen to provide a modern work environment that aligns with the company’s culture, strategic goals, and employee needs, emphasizing energy efficiency and improved public transport accessibility.

The relocation is expected to affect approximately 660 employees, who will move from the Zurich financial hub to the Aargau region. Despite the change in headquarters, the bank stated that customer service will remain consistent through its five existing hubs and its nationwide partner network.
