Cementos Progreso honors 86 employees for long-term service

Cementos Progreso has recognized 86 employees through its ‘Trayectoria’ program, which celebrates milestones of service ranging from five-year increments to over four decades of commitment. Among the honorees, one individual was recognized for 45 years of service to the company.

Enrique García, Executive Vice President of the Caribbean Region for Cementos Progreso, stated that the organization’s value lies in the people who have enabled its growth. He noted that recognizing these trajectories honors the company’s history while looking toward a future supported by a team that shares its values.

Data from the company indicates that 70% of the recognized employees are from the San Pedro plant operations. Furthermore, 40% of the total workforce in the Dominican Republic has ten or more years of service, while 17 employees have exceeded 20 years of tenure.
