Cemex shares tumble as Arrowstreet and Oaktree cut holdings

Arrowstreet Capital Limited Partnership reduced its stake in Cemex S.A.B. de C.V. by 55%, selling 2,699,789 shares in the first quarter and ending with about 0.15% of the company, valued at roughly $25.3 million.

Oaktree Capital Management LP also trimmed its position, disposing of 2,986,241 shares, a 51.9% decline, leaving it with about 0.19% of Cemex, worth $31.6 million. Both filings were disclosed in recent Form 13F reports to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Institutional investors now own approximately 82.97% of Cemex stock, which traded around $11.72 per share, with a market capitalization of $16.97 billion.
