Cemig elects new leadership as Petrobras receives diesel subsidies

Cemig has announced a change in its top leadership. The company’s Board of Directors approved the election of Marco Aurélio Martins da Costa Vasconcelos as president, while Alexandre Ramos Peixoto was elected to lead the Board of Directors. Vasconcelos, a lawyer with experience in the legal and management sectors, previously served as deputy legal director at Copasa.

In other corporate developments, Petrobras confirmed the receipt of R$ 2.57 billion in new installments from the Economic Subsidy Program for diesel commercialization. This brings the total amount transferred to the state-owned company to R$ 9.5 billion.

Additionally, the B3 stock exchange has extended regulatory deadlines for several companies. Marisa Lojas received an extension until December 31, 2027, to meet free float requirements, while Sequoia Logística was granted until November 16, 2026, to return its share price to the minimum level required for listing.
