CENDI UAT receives IMSS recognition for workplace safety

The Child Development Center of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (CENDI UAT) in Ciudad Victoria has received the ELSSA distinction (Safe and Healthy Work Environments) from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).

The award recognizes the implementation of best practices to establish dignified, safe, and efficient workspaces. To obtain the distinction, which is valid for one year, CENDI UAT passed self-evaluations across five strategic program lines and integrated a formally trained ELSSA Monitor through the CLIMSS platform.

This preventive model encompasses physical care for workers, mental health attention, epidemiological surveillance, and continuous staff training. The recognition was received by Isolda Rendón de Anaya, president of Familia UAT, during the ELSSA Transversal Forum.
