Cenergy Holdings announces share buyback and Evropi Holdings reports operational growth
Cenergy Holdings has announced a share buyback program on the Euronext Athens. The Board of Directors approved the plan to acquire up to 435,000 shares for a maximum total amount of €10 million over the next 24 months. The company intends to hold these shares as treasury shares to facilitate share-based compensation according to its remuneration policy.
Separately, Evropi Holdings reported strong operational performance for the first half of 2026. While recurring revenues and insurance profitability increased, published results showed pre-tax losses of €10.27 million and negative EBITDA of €554,000. These losses were driven by extraordinary expenses, including a €6.87 million charge related to a long-term incentive program triggered by a change in control, and a €9.07 million loss from the sale of an investment property in Paiania.
Despite these accounting charges, the group's insurance activities saw growth, with Evropi Insurance increasing insurance revenues to €14 million. The NAK Group also reported upward trends, with revenues rising 5.5% to €3.6 million and pre-tax profits increasing 8.9% to €2.3 million.
