Fenerbahçe to offload Cengiz Ünder as Turkish clubs reshape squads

Fenerbahçe has confirmed that winger Cengiz Ünder is not in coach İsmail Kartal’s plans for the upcoming season. The club is open to domestic and foreign offers, citing his high salary and a market value that has fallen to around €4 million, far below the €15 million paid to acquire him from Marseille in 2023. Ünder’s recent loan spells at Los Angeles FC and Beşiktaş have ended, and the club is also linked to a possible swap involving Alanyaspor defender Ümit Akdağ, though Alanyaspor has not accepted the proposal.

In a separate transfer window move, 2nd‑League side İnegölspor signed veteran goalkeeper Harun Tekin on a one‑year contract. Tekin, who previously played for Bursaspor, Fenerbahçe, Kasımpaşa and Kocaelispor, brings experience and leadership to the club’s back line.

Additionally, Bursaspor announced the signing of 21‑year‑old defender Emirhan Başyiğit from Sivasspor. Başyiğit, a product of the Nevşehir youth system, has featured for Turkey’s U‑17 to U‑20 national teams and is expected to strengthen Bursaspor’s defensive options.
