Cenipa recovers black box from helicopter crash that killed singer Rick

The Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa) has recovered the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) from the Bell 430 helicopter that crashed in the Urubici region of Santa Catarina. The accident, which occurred last Sunday, resulted in the deaths of five people, including the singer Rick Sollo from the duo Rick and Renner.

Cenipa has concluded the initial phase of the investigation at the crash site. The recovered CVR will be sent to the Flight Recorder Data Reading and Analysis Laboratory (LABDATA) in Brasília for data extraction and transcription.

The investigation will now proceed to a phase focused on analyzing flight activities, the operational environment, human factors, and detailed studies of the aircraft's components and systems.
