Centar Municipality begins retaining wall construction at Kocho Racin Kindergarten

Centar Municipality is conducting major construction work at the ‘Panorama’ facility of the Kocho Racin Kindergarten to build a new reinforced concrete retaining wall. The project aims to stabilize the terrain and prevent erosion processes.

The structure is designed in six separate campaigns with a total height of 3.20 meters, including the foundation. To ensure proper water drainage and erosion protection, a drainage layer of crushed stone wrapped in geotextile will be installed behind the wall, along with a 300 mm diameter PVC drainage pipe.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski stated that the project is a necessary measure to create safer conditions within the kindergarten. To ensure child safety during construction, all children from the ‘Panorama’ facility have been temporarily transferred to the ‘Beli Mugri’ facility.
