Centara Hotels & Resorts appoints Andrew Shaw as CDO

Centara Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel operator based in Thailand, has appointed Andrew Shaw as Chief Development Officer (CDO). The move is intended to support the company’s next phase of global growth and portfolio expansion.

In his new role, Shaw will lead the global development agenda, focusing on identifying opportunities in both established and emerging markets. He will work across the company’s six brands to manage property pipelines and strengthen relationships with investors and hotel owners worldwide. Shaw will report directly to Michael Henssler, the Chief Operating Officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts.

A veteran of the hospitality and real estate sectors with over 30 years of experience, Shaw joins Centara from Hospitality Asset Solutions 360, where he was a Founding Partner. His previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Development at Dusit International, where he managed expansion strategies across the EMEA region.
