Centar’s St. Cyril and Methodius School receives new energy‑efficient façade and LED lighting
Mayor Goran Gerasimovski inspected the reconstruction of St. Cyril and Methodius School in the municipality of Centar. The project, financed through a World Bank loan, includes installing roughly 2,000 m² of high‑quality stone cladding on the façade and adding new roof drainage and ventilation works. All steel grilles are being dismantled, painted and re‑mounted, while the roof will receive new limen and vent‑covers.
Inside, about 300 existing light fixtures are being replaced with energy‑efficient LED lamps to cut electricity consumption. The upgraded façade and LED lighting are intended to improve thermal insulation, lower utility bills and provide better conditions for students and staff. The main portion of the façade work is slated for completion by September, in time for the new school year.
