Centenarians celebrated in San Ferdinando di Puglia and Cosenza

Two women in Italy are being celebrated by their local communities for reaching the milestone of 100 years of age.

In San Ferdinando di Puglia, the municipal administration issued a message of congratulations to Signora Nunzia, honoring her century of life and experiences within the community.

In Cosenza, Mayor Franz Caruso personally congratulated Ginevra Sposato on her 100th birthday. Born in Scigliano in 1926 to a farming family, Sposato is recognized for her determination to pursue education despite social barriers. She traveled long distances to attend school in Cosenza and subsequently dedicated forty years to teaching as an elementary school teacher.
